This 1948 Oldsmobile Dynamic 76 four-door sedan is powered by a Chevrolet-sourced 230ci inline-six paired with a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and is finished in black over beige velour upholstery. The car is said to have spent decades in California and was acquired by the current owner in the early 2000s. Equipment includes a single-barrel carburetor, red-painted 15″ steel wheels, hubcaps, whitewall tires, a windshield visor, and a Kenwood cassette stereo. This Series 76 Dynamic is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of its owner with service records from current ownership and a California title in the current owner’s name.
The car reportedly was repainted in black under current ownership. Features includes chrome bumpers and trim, stone guards ahead of the rear wheel wells, a hood ornament, a two-piece windshield, a windshield visor, a driver-side mirror, and turn signals.
Red-finished 15″ steel wheels with bright trim rings and hubcaps are mounted with L78-15 Remington Cushion-Aire whitewall tires.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in beige velour upholstery. An AM radio is found in the center of the dashboard, and a Kenwood cassette stereo has been installed below the dash. The Chevrolet 230ci inline-six was installed under current ownership and is equipped with a single-barrel carburetor, an aftermarket air intake, and an orange-painted valve cover. The heater hoses are disconnected. The car’s chassis number indicates that it was originally powered by a 238ci inline-six.
Power is sent to the rear wheels though a Chevrolet-sourced Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
