This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 coupe is finished in red with white racing stripes over black vinyl and is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a four-barrel carburetor, a dual exhaust system, front and rear spoilers, front bucket seats, power-assisted front disc brakes, Koni shocks, and 15″ wheels. This Camaro was acquired by the seller in 2016 and is now offered in California with a spare set of floor mats and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The body came finished from the factory in Cranberry Red and features white racing stripes on the hood, rear deck, and rear spoiler. Additional exterior equipment includes an egg-crate front grille, a front spoiler, body-color sport side mirrors, chrome bumpers, and Z28 badging.
The 15″ five-spoke wheels feature polished lips and are mounted with Goodyear Polyglas GT tires. A spare is secured in the trunk. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the suspension has been fitted with Koni shocks.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl, and the cabin features a matching dash, rear bench, carpets, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a lockable glovebox, lap belts, and Z28-branded floor mats.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 130-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles, approximately 200 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci Turbo-Fire V8 is equipped with a polished air cleaner, a four-barrel carburetor, ribbed valve covers, and a dual exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 255 horsepower with the Z28 package. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end.
